Tiny Tots
The Tiny Tots program is designed for children in the Under 2 and Under 3 age
categories. Tiny Tots is Cambridge Youth Soccer’s introductory program. Tiny
Tots has been a part of CYS’ programming since 2007. Cambridge Youth Soccer
employs one instructor to oversee the Indoor Tiny Tots program.
Children are placed onto 6 ‘teams’ of 6 players (36 on the field at a time) each
and parents are urged to join in the participation on the field. Children learn
a variety of fun soccer-related games throughout the session.
The session itself last for 30 minutes and there are 8 sessions in the outdoor
season. This program has the capacity for 72 participants with sessions taking
place on Saturday mornings at 10:00am or 10:45am at the Com Dev Indoor Soccer
Park. There are two different session for this program. The first 8 week program
begins in late October and ends in mid-December and the second 8 week program
begins in mid-January and ends in late February.
Players receive a team shirt at this level. Additionally, there are no coaches

U4 /U5/U6 Micro
This program is designed to show children the basic aspects of team play for the
first time. This program lasts for 11 weeks. Parents have the option of choosing
either a Saturday morning session or a mid-week session.
Each team is made up of 9 players. A volunteer coach oversees each team.
Teams are encouraged to use their hour-long timeslots to have 25 minutes of
practice time, where the coach can teach the players some basic drills. The
second 25 minutes is to be used for the game. Each team plays the game with 4
players plus a goalie on the field at any one time. The coach of each team also
stays on the field to help encourage players.
This division is mixed with girls and boys playing together.
The program wraps up with a Finals Day event where every team participates in a
final game.
Players receive a shirt and must supply their own shorts and socks.
U8/U10 Mini Soccer
Children play a 14 week schedule at the Com Dev Indoor Soccer Park. The first
week of the season and the first week after the Christmas Break are set aside
for dedicated practice slots. The other 12 sessions are hour-long games which
are played with 4 players plus a goalkeeper on the field for each team. Teams
consist of 12 players. A volunteer coach oversees each team.
Players receive a shirt and must supply their own shorts and socks.
These divisions are gender specific.
All games are officiated by qualified referees.
U12/U14/U18 House League
Children play a 16 week schedule at the Com Dev Indoor Soccer Park. The first
week of the season and the first week after the Christmas Break are set aside
for dedicated practice slots. The other 14 sessions are hour-long games which
are played with 4 players plus a goalkeeper on the field for each team. Teams
consist of 11 players for U12 and U14 while U18 teams consist of 9 players. A
volunteer coach oversees each team.
Players receive a shirt and must supply their own shorts and socks.
These divisions are gender specific.
All games are officiated by qualified referees.
